Arts and Literature are the main essence of Indian Culture. From last many centuries, the modes of communication between the people were very closely related with Tradition, Arts, Paintings and Literature. Films, Plays, Drama, Puppet Show, Dances, Regional Songs and Music etc… all were the significant modes of communication in the ancient times. But everything changes with time. The modes of communication may be changed or increased but the taste and grounds for reception of message are still the same of that ancient time. The people in our country are very sensitive and adaptive by nature. Films really prove to be a very good mode of communication with the Indian audiences.

 

The Production now days have a wide variety. Documentaries Films, Ad- Films, Short Films, Feature Films, Tele Films, Serials, Soaps Operas etc which not only educated the audiences but also entertains them. There are many educational films shown in the schools and colleges to the student to make them understand the changing scenario of life. Films on topics like Dowry, Child Abuse, Child Labor, Unemployment, HIV etc are very educational and meant for every kind of age group audiences.

 

But we must not forget the hard work behind the camera. While making a film it’s not only the cast that takes pains but the crew also have to be very effective in technical things to make a film outstanding. A Film Making includes a lot of jobs like Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Graphics designer, etc... And now days there are a lot of institutes in the country who are giving the professional training for these things. The FTII, Pune is on number one in the Film Making studies followed by some institutes in Noida and Delhi.

 

Now it’s not only the Main stream or Parallel Cinema that entertains people. The animated movies also have a wide scope and demand in India. Movies like Hanuman, Ghatothkach. Dashaavtra etc were really liked by the audiences. These movies are totally based upon the mind and skills of director. The graphic designers and animators etc have to work really very hard in order to make a good and entertaining movie.

 

The opportunity will never fade away in this area as Mumbai is the hub for all this. There are many production houses in Mumbai which makes many Movies and TV Shows. They have a huge panel of crew who work for them on their show format. Many TV channels are also coming in the Indian Media Industry so the youngsters and fresher have a great scope in this.
